I have known Glen Gallegos since roughly 1993 when our sons began playing basketball together. With my wife employed in the school district, I became aware of the leadership roles Glen had held prior to coming to Grand Junction. Glen comes from a family that worked hard for everything they achieved. His core values are very solid and have been passed on to his and Diane's children. They are based on their faith and commitment to family along with building relationships, both personal and business. Glen is a leader by example and is involved, as evidenced by his serving as a Trustee for Colorado Mesa University along with other organizations. He also "puts his money where his mouth is", supporting numerous worthwhile causes and events, with most of them involving education which is his true passion. He is a huge supporter of the belief that education is the primary way one can improve one's self, both economically and as an overall member of society. I feel that he would make an excellent Trustee for the University of Colorado because of the life-long leadership skills he has acquired along with his strong work ethic and passion for education..
